What does distributive mean?

What does constant mean in everyday language? In Math?


What are the like terms in 5 x + 3 + 2 x?


How many x’s are in 3 x + 4 + x?


How do you move a number or variable to the other side of an equal sign?


What would you move first in 5x – 3 = 2?


Write 5 words for add, subtract, multiply, and divide.


Write an equation: four less than twice a number is –2.


Use a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast: formula/recipe and perimeter/area.
